Relaxing on a Rainy Day

This fog
hangs
out of the sky
Works its way down
Crops mountains
Drops
Then mapless
mingles with grass

Frenchmen’s Bay lies still
Surface ripples
flattened
by a heavy mist

In a cove
a wood rowboat
loses
contour lines
Round
cobblestone edges
back into angular rock slabs

With collapsed lines
old definitions fade
