Six Word Memoir

I'm not certain that I'm ready

I'm not ready for another look
and not ready for a wait
to hear the result—Stop looking.
Let's just forget the scavenger hunt.

  8. I won a scavenger hunt once. I was driving, bottomed out the family wagon, lost half of the exhause system, and we won a tiny plastic trophy, topped by a corvette dipped in silver paint. No, we are never ready, but oh the laughter to be had in getting there,
