Uncomplicated

If I start a fire
will you find two sticks
Let us roast marshmallows,
warm our hands
and watch flames
form a symmetry
against darkness
Let us hold our hands
hand over hand
I'll hold you, you hold me

We'll knead words,
breathe the same moments
court each other with touch

Quietly
gently
I'll say love

  4. I like the whole thing - it's lovely - but my favorite lines: "We'll knead words / breathe the same moments". I have to show this one to my wife.

  7. Love the soft warmth and tenderness in this. Really appreciate the environment you create with the line about roasting marshmellows, and how all the rest is a softening of those mellows into the sticky soft glue of love overtime.
